Apia: CIWI & CIMI Series The CIWI and CIMI Series of miniature loudspeakers have the unique capability of delivering an incredible amount of pure and clear sound. These systems are designed for portable sound reinforcement and for fixed installations. With their 90° conical dispersion, the CIWI and CIMI Series are a perfect fit in the most common applications of sound reinforcement. With an extremely powerful and authentic sound these products are perfectly suited for disco clubs, lounge bars, restaurants, shopping malls, cruise ships, sports arenas, outdoor and indoor parking areas and for all general indoor and outdoor audio applications. Integrating the powered subwoofers from Apia's C Series - C-Sub and C-Infra - ensures excellent coverage of the entire musical frequency range down to 25Hz. The Apia QDS-13 amplifier, optimised for use with the CIWI and CIMI Series, features multiple analogue and digital connectors and integrated DSP custom presets. The Apia QDS-13 amplifier with all its features encompasses an extremely advanced and precise drive system. The CIWI Series is made of wood using a polyurethane painting system, which is more suitable for indoor installations. CIWI series includes three models, CIWI, CIWI Line6 and CIWI Line12. The CIMI Series loudspeaker casing is made of aluminium and is more suitable for outdoor installations where high and low temperatures, sun exposure, humidity and salt air are an obstacle for many, but for which CIMI was engineered. The CIMI Series includes three models, CIMI, CIMI Line8 and CIMI Line16. |

Philips: Platinum Lamps This year Philips is proudly celebrating five years of Platinum lamps. Its powerful, razor-sharp light beams are able to cut right through LED lighting walls. It is little wonder that the Platinum lamps have revolutionised the industry in a relatively short amount of time. In 2010 the first innovative Platinum lamp was launched: the MSD Platinum 5 R. Kinetic Lights: Winch LED 4.0 Kinetic Lights presents the new Winch LED 4.0. In its fourth generation the Winch LED has become even more powerful and versatile. The new Winch LED 4.0 is the only powered cable winch system that fully complies with the BGV C1 (now DGUV 17) security regulations to move tethered light elements of up to 3kg above the audience. With a faster processor and new firmware the unit now provides full real-time control from any third party lighting console or control software via DMX. A simplified DMX mapping table with 16 channels per winch makes it easy to program and control. Ultra precise 16bit positioning is guaranteed to the millimetre at variable speeds of up to 60cm per second. The new Winch LEDs communicate their status and position back to the control unit 30 times per second if needed. This allows for extra secure operation and additional advanced features like projection mapping of moving objects with video or laser. The reinforced powered lift cable is now fully retractable and features a new fast lock power connector at the end. The redesigned injection moulded shell provides IP 54 protection. All Winch LEDs are fully DGUV17/BGV C1 and CE compliant. The system provides a self-locking gear, mechanical power switches at both ends of the lift cable, overweight and slack line detection. All materials are UL certified. For more than 10 years Kinetic Lights engineers and produces a wide range of small form factor steel wire and powered cable DMX winches for various art, interior, stage, show and event applications. The main use of our high precision hoists is the synchronised spatial animation of large arrays of tethered LED light elements. Large-scale kinetic sculptures can be easily installed and animated in mid air with hundreds or even thousands of moving light elements. All systems are engineered and produced in Germany. |

ADJ: COB Cannon Wash The ADJ COB Cannon Wash uses advanced RGBA COB (Chip On Board) technology allowing for a powerful LED engine to be placed in a small amount of space. The result is a high output, smooth colour mixing LED Par with no RGBA shadows. Designed for mobile or permanent wash lighting of stages, clubs, dance floors and churches. The COB LED engine on the COB Cannon Wash is a quad RGBA four-in-one. It also doubles as an uplight with its dual yoke that act as legs to set the fixture upright to wash walls and ceilings. The COB Cannon Wash has massive 80º beam angle. Easily replaceable 40º and 50º lens are included so that the beam angle may be changed. It has seven DMX channel modes for programming flexibility, built-in colour macros and five selectable dim curves. The fixture has many pro features such as: 0-100% electronic dimming, strobe/pulse effect, flicker free operation, DMX and IEC power daisy-chaining, and a four-button DMX display. COB Cannon Wash may run in its stand-alone mode from built-in programs, sound actively or from a DMX controller. |

Sommer Cable: SC-TRICONE 241P Hybrid Instrument Cable For all users who appreciate compact dimensions and high functionality Sommer Cable now offers the new SC-TRICONE 241P Hybrid. The innovative solution is aimed in particular at guitarists and keyboard players who would like to connect amplifiers, MIDI components, effects boards, synthesisers or DJ equipment. Moreover, it is perfectly suited for the four-cable-method. The ready-to-use pre-made cables are available in any desired length and contain four coaxial instrument lines, two balanced AF lines, one CAT 5 network line as well as one power lead (3 x 0.75 sq mm). On the connection side the cable is able to convince with HICON jack and network connectors plus five-pole MIDI and Schuko/IEC power connectors. Individual configurations are available on request. Thus a single cable with an overall diameter of less than 22mm has all connection variants ready for a professional effects board connection to the amplifier, for example. |

Robe: Robin DL4S Profile Extending the possibilities of the playful, colourful DLS Profile, the new DL4S is equipped with enhanced version of the ROBE RGBW LED module for brighter saturated colours and more powerful output. To magnify the already perfectly smooth colours, fades and dimming, the DL4S features innovative LED driving system for improved, extremely high definition dimming curve for all RGBW colours, with 18 bits resolution. The DL4S adds a system of four fast, smooth, framing shutters within the optical path design of the proven DLS Profile format. There is individual control of each shutter blade position and angle, together with rotation of the complete framing module. As well as providing a sharp precise or soft frame for the projected image, the system produces a new series of effects through pre-programmed shutter blade shape and movement sequences. As with all models in the Robe DL luminaire range, the multiple shadows normally associated with an LED source have been eliminated. The enhanced Robe RGBW LED light source reproduces both rich and pastel colours at output levels normally associated with 1,200W discharge fixtures as well as pure whites at preselected 2,700K, 3,200K, 4,200K, 5,600K and 8,000 colour temperatures. The tungsten emulation function allows the fixture to be integrated seamlessly into lighting schemes with existing traditional lanterns. |

Elation: Arena Series Elation’s Arena Series of energy-efficient yet high power RGBW Par lights are the ideal wash luminaires for arenas, large or small. But don’t let the name fool you. Theatre, studio, arena or stadium, these flexible wash lights can be used on stage applications of all types. The Arena Q7 Zoom houses seven 10W RGBW LEDs and an efficient 10º - 60º zoom. Other features include variable strobe macros and a selection of dimming curves. The Arena PAR Zoom houses 19 x 10W RGBW LEDs and also includes a 10 º- 60º zoom as well as variable strobe macros and dimming curves. Although the Arena PAR Zoom consumes only 220W of total power, lumen output from this high-power LED PAR can is comparable to a 1,000W fixture. |

Steinigke: Eurolite LED Space Ball 35 The Space Ball with a diameter of 35cm is bigger than a basketball and has been equipped with more than 250 RGB LEDs. These illuminate the ball evenly from the inside, so it looks like a consistently glowing ball. The ball has a fixed lifting system - HST-150 - that can lift or lower the ball for 1.5-metres. By installing several balls in a room, a variety of effects can be created and due to their grand size, their impact definitely is impressive. It is possible to make ceilings glow in different colours or create the illusion of the balls changing shape. The LED Space Ball 35’s are not only perfect as part of the architecture in hotels, they also fit well into performance environments. The LED Space Ball 35 and HST-150 are controlled by DMX with eight channels. The colour intensity as well as the colour mixture can easily be adjusted. The motor sound of the HST is very low and will not be noticed, even in more silent environment. |

Salzbrenner: Polaris Evolution Salzbrenner’s new Polaris Evolution presents a manufacturer and platform independent interface for 3D audio integration. The integration allows extensive working with sound objects in a three-dimensional space for a realistic audio experience. Initiated by the film industry, the 3D audio processing has found its way into theatre and live productions. The aim is to perfectly mimic the natural hearing experience by modelling realistic sound sources in three-dimensional space. The new Polaris Evolution now integrates fundamental functions to control 3D audio objects comprehensively as well as a direct connection to DAW via timecode. The integration consequently proceeds from the routing of the input sources to object-based assignment and the usual processing to a solid placing in the auditorium without favoured listening positions. |
