K-array: KA24 and KA84 The KA24 and KA84 are the newest power amplifiers to join the K-array range. The KA24 is a four channel per 500W into four ohms and the KA84 is a four channel per 2,000W into four ohms. Each model has four fully independent and configurable channels. The integrated DSP offers EQ, matrix, levels, delays and limiter functions on every channel to avoid the need of external additional processors. The front panel has an easy-to-use touchscreen that gives access to all the basic functions for quick set-up and corrections. The KA24 and KA84 can be used as a basic mixer thanks to the microphone and phantom power options available on every analogue input. Two GPIO ports give easy external analogue controls using K-array accessories. An on-board K-array speaker preset library offers easy configuration for endless combinations. All DSP functions are remote controlled via the K-framework software over RS485 or an integrated USB connector. Both amplifiers are built into a 2U lightweight aluminium chassis and come with a kit of removable rack brackets. Optical limiters protect them from over heating, over currents or short-circuiting. All components are designed by the K-array R&D department and custom made under the K-array quality control system. |

Prolyte: ProLyft Aetos Aetos is the new ProLyft chain hoist range comprising manual chain hoists, electrical chain hoists and controls. The Aetos range includes 250kg, 500kg and 1,000kg hoists and is complemented with a pro and basic controller range. The Aetos hoists have stunning, successful features, such as a jam free steel chain guide and a disentangle plate, as well as standard limit switches, which are fitted on all hoists within the range. Stenigke: Futurelight Wave Wave is the name of the new Futurelight moving head that has one obvious specialty, it combines one pan movement with two tilt movements. Two LED bars, each with three lenses are mounted on one pan axis and the tilt movement of both bars can be controlled separately via DMX, allowing for new movements and patterns to be programmed, one of which is wave like, hence the name of the fixture. With its six LED beams, the Wave moving head can create extraordinary effects. A very powerful cold white version with six 20W LEDs is available, as well as a colour version featuring 4-in-1 10W RGBW LEDs. |

ADJ: Inno Spot Pro ADJ continues to push the boundaries of LED technology with the Inno Spot LED, a super-charged intelligent moving head with a bright 80W LED engine. The Inno Spot Pro provides a powerful punch for large nightclubs, churches and stages. It is also great for mobile productions because it’s compact and light in weight. It features six rotating, replaceable gobos, eight colours plus white, and separate gobo / colour wheels. Its hard edge beam is similar to a traditional halogen or discharge lighting effect with a fraction of the power draw (140W) or the hassle of changing out light bulbs. Special features include a motorised focus, manual zoom of 12º - 17º and a three-facet rotating prism. Users may daisy-chain the power from one fixture to another via its IEC in / out connections. |

Sommer Cable: SC-MICRO-STAGE It’s small and mousy but meets all real-life requirements of modern live and studio technology. The SC-MICRO STAGE is a highly flexible AES/EBU compliant microphone cable with a wave impedance of 110 ohms, which covers most applications on stage or in the field of installation technology. Its compact cable diameter of 5.8mm is ideal for use in combination with stereo jack plugs and XLR connectors with a smaller cable passage like they are still very common in overseas or on the US market. It’s perfect for use as patch or Midi cable and will hardly take any space in a small home studio. Soundcraft: Realtime Rack The result of a unique collaboration between live sound mixing experts Soundcraft and renowned plug-in manufacturer, Universal Audio, the Soundcraft Realtime Rack brings industry-standard UAD studio plug-ins to Soundcraft Vi Series consoles. The Realtime Rack is a 1U DSP engine capable of processing up to 16 channels of a Madi stream with up to eight plug-ins in series per channel. Additional units can also be daisy-chained for 32, 48 or 64 channels from the same Madi interface. Realtime Rack’s robust Sharc-based processors run audio over standard Optical Madi connections and dual-redundant internal power supplies ensure that audio signals keep running, even in the event of a power supply failure. Two versions are available, firstly the Realtime Rack Core, which comes with 14 plug-ins at an entry-level price point and is aimed at freelancers. Additional plug-ins can be purchased from the UA website as required. While the Realtime Rack Ultimate comes fully loaded with 72 classic Harman and UA plug-ins and includes most of the UA range. ProAudio Technology: M20 The M20 loudspeaker is a direct-radiating monitor speaker to be used with system amplifiers. The two-way system is equipped with two 10-inch cone drivers and one 1.4-inch HF driver. The sophisticated passive crossover allows a phase-coherent frequency division between both ways over several octaves, ensuring a low-distortion and uncompressed reproduction at high volume levels. The radiation angle is 80º x 60º. With its dual 10-inch LF drivers the M20 loudspeaker achieves a very faithful transient response in the bass range and a lot of headroom in the crucial midrange. Despite its wide coverage, the large mouth high-mid horn sounds tremendously in-the-face. The set-up is based on FIR filters ensure a safe operation, a linear phase and transmission behaviour plus a very low feedback susceptibility. Four to eight M20’s in combination with a DELTA8.4-DSP system amplifier enable economic monitoring at the highest level. |

Dynacord: PM 502 The PM 502 combines analogue input circuitry and operating surface with the advantages of its digital master and amplifier section. The PM 502 includes five mic / line and three stereo inputs as well as a master section tailored to the needs of day-to-day use with three master outputs - each with an individual seven-band EQ. It can also be switched to 100V direct drive mode for direct connection to 100V or 70V loudspeaker lines without the need of an output transformer. An installation kit for 19-inch racks or surface mounting is available for the PM 502 as an option. The built-in Class-D power amplifier featuring two channels per 450W into four ohms provides plenty of power to drive a complete mobile sound system. Advanced microphone processing functions such as compressor / limiter, talk-over serve every DJ and entertainer during live events. One USB Type A interface for PC and Mac supports 48kHz recording and playback, a second USB slot at the front comprises an onboard MP3 media player to allow audio programs to be played from an USB stick or external hard drive, for example. |
